Ashurst advises Algebris Investments on acquisition of Vector Renewables

Ashurst advised Algebris Investments on its acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Vector Renewables from Nadara Italy through the Algebris Green Transition Fund. The cross-border transaction spanned eight jurisdictions and marks the first international acquisition completed by the Algebris Green Transition Fund. The deal expands the asset manager’s presence beyond its domestic market, strengthens its position in the energy transition sector and provides exposure to a leading technical advisory and asset management platform focused on renewable energy assets. Headquartered in Spain, Vector Renewables provides technical consultancy and asset management services for the renewable energy industry. The company operates across Europe, Asia and Latin America and has experience in more than 60 countries. Algebris intends to support Vector Renewables’ management team in its next stage of growth, with a focus on expanding technical and digital capabilities and pursuing new development opportunities internationally. Ashurst represented Algebris Investments with a team composed by: Madrid partner Andrés Alfonso, and associates Marta Timoner and Raul Gines (Spanish law aspects); London partners Katie Williams and Gaby Jones, and associate Jessica Nelson (English law aspects). The firm coordinated a multidisciplinary cross-border team overseeing legal work across eight jurisdictions.
