Fairlight advises French startup Ryax Technologies on acquisition by Nutanix

"Fairlight advised French startup Ryax Technologies in its acquisition by US cloud infrastructure company Nutanix. Ryax, founded in Lyon in 2017, develops orchestration and optimization software for AI compute. Nutanix, founded in 2009 in California, is a global leader in hyperconverged infrastructure and hybrid cloud with over 29,000 clients. The deal will broaden Ryax’s market while keeping its team in France."

Fairlight advised French startup Ryax Technologies in connection with its acquisition by US technology company Nutanix. The transaction concerns the acquisition of Ryax Technologies, a Lyon-based startup founded in 2017 by Andry Razafinjatovo and Ioannis Georgiou. Ryax specialises in the orchestration and optimisation of compute resources for artificial intelligence and develops software that helps companies automate and optimise heavy computational workloads. Nutanix, a US technology company founded in 2009 and headquartered in California, is positioned as a global pioneer in hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and a leader in hybrid cloud. The company serves more than 29,000 clients worldwide, including major groups such as Airbus and Société Générale. The acquisition is intended to extend Ryax’s technology to a much broader range of companies while enabling the Ryax team to continue operating from France.
