ARC Real Estate launches Solaris securitization integrating NPLs and tokenized ABS

Greenberg Traurig acted as transaction counsel to ARC Real Estate in connection with the Solaris transaction. The operation involved the securitization of non-performing loans (NPLs) that combines structured finance techniques with blockchain technology through the issuance of tokenized asset-backed securities (ABS) by the vehicle Solaris SPV, with Centotrenta Servicing appointed as servicer. ARC Real Estate served as originator and special servicer. Solaris is one of the first initiatives on the Italian market to bring together traditional securitization instruments and regulated distributed ledger technology (DLT) infrastructures, and the transaction also broadened access to this asset class for professional private investors.
