A&O Shearman and Clifford Chance advised, respectively, Societe Generale and Younited in relation to a warehouse facility secured by portfolios of consumer loans originated by Younited through its Italian branch. Societe Generale acted as arranger and senior lender, while Younited acted as the originator of the loans. The transaction comprises a warehouse facility backed by consumer loan portfolios granted by Younited via its Italian branch. The assets were segregated for the benefit of the senior lender through an innovative security structure. The facility is intended to enable Younited to further diversify its funding sources and to support continued access to the Italian public ABS market.
