Baker McKenzie Secures Dismissal with Prejudice for Sika in Antitrust MDL over Concrete and Cement Additives

Global law firm Baker McKenzie represented Sika in multidistrict antitrust litigation alleging price‑fixing in the market for concrete, cement and mortar additives. On September 2, 2026, the US District Court for the Southern District of New York dismissed Plaintiffs’ amended complaints with prejudice, finding that Plaintiffs failed to adequately allege a conspiracy to fix prices in the United States or a foreign conspiracy with sufficient effects on US commerce. The ruling followed Plaintiffs’ amendments made with the benefit of cooperation materials from a settling defendant. The matter and the firm’s work were noted in The American Lawyer Litigation Daily.
