A&O Shearman and ADVANT Nctm advise on Ingenii sgr's Recovery Value fund

A&O Shearman advised a syndicate of banks including Banca Valsabbina, BCA Banca, Banca AideXa and Tyche Bank, while ADVANT Nctm represented Ingenii sgr in the transaction. A syndicate of banks comprising, among others, Banca Valsabbina, BCA Banca, Banca AideXa and Tyche Bank completed the first closing of an investment in Ingenii Recovery Value, a closed-end, reserved Italian alternative investment fund established and managed by Ingenii sgr. The fund is dedicated to investing in non-performing loans and aims to generate value through the active management of portfolios of non-performing exposures. A&O Shearman represented the lending banks including Banca Valsabbina, BCA Banca, Banca AideXa and Tyche Bank with a team composed by: Alberto Claretta Assandri, Head of Italy Funds & Financial Regulatory; Mario Albano, Associate; and Martina Lattanzi, Trainee. Matters related to the definition of the investment policy were handled by partner Pietro Bellone and trainee Francesco Piantoni. ADVANT Nctm represented Ingenii sgr with a team composed by: counsel Lorenzo Macchia, assisted by associate Irene Gusso. Banca AideXa's in-house legal team represented Banca AideXa with a team composed by: Federica Pavesi, General Counsel; and Gregorio Bertin, Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs. Banca Valsabbina's in-house legal team represented Banca Valsabbina with a multidisciplinary team composed by: Giulio Valzelli, Head of the Legal and Litigation Service; and Alberto Ronca, Head of Strategic Planning and Special Projects. BCA Banca's in-house legal team represented BCA Banca with a team composed by: Luca Vradini Scusa, Head of Legal; and Francesco Paolo Volpe, Senior Legal Counsel. Tyche Bank's in-house legal team represented Tyche Bank with a team composed by: Sebastiano Mattia Gennaro, General Counsel, assisted by Nadia D’Errico and Graziano Lomaistro.
