Yards advises RESALT (Arkéa Capital) on equity investment in Delaferme

Yards advised the RESALT fund (managed by Arkéa Capital) in connection with its equity investment in the Rhône-Alpes startup Delaferme. RESALT is an impact fund in the agri-food sector recently launched by Arkéa in partnership with Canopée PE and Vertigo Lab. It supports agricultural and food companies across the entire value chain with objectives of transition, resilience and food sovereignty. Founded in 2020 and formerly known as Bio&Lo, Delaferme installs and maintains micro-dairies and handles the marketing of yogurts packaged in pouches for collective catering, hotel chains (Novotel, Mercure) and specialized distribution. The company also applies the same economic model to the processing of apples into compote. As a result of this strategic transaction, Delaferme will be able to co-finance the acquisition of yogurt dispensers and micro-dairies so they can be leased to farmers with an option to purchase, addressing the financing constraints many producers face at project inception. Yards represented RESALT (managed by Arkéa Capital) with a team composed of: Julien Brouwer (partner) and Patricia Khoury (associate) on Private Equity/M&A matters; Jérémie Yéni (partner) and Marin du Repaire (associate) on tax matters; and Marion Ayadi (partner) and Raed Kacem (associate) on labor and employment matters.
