Addleshaw Goddard advises SEH Healthcare on award of SABIC Specialized Behavioural Healthcare Hospital PPP in Riyadh

"Addleshaw Goddard and Altra Capital advised SEH Healthcare, a consortium of SMC Healthcare, Health Gates and Germany’s Dr Ebel Group, on its successful award as operator of the SABIC Specialized Behavioural Healthcare Hospital in Riyadh. The 15-year PPP covers operation of the 150-bed facility under Saudi Arabia’s Health Sector Transformation Program (Vision 2030)."

Addleshaw Goddard advised SEH Healthcare, a consortium formed by SMC Healthcare, Health Gates and Germany’s Dr Ebel Group, on its successful award as operator of the SABIC Specialized Behavioural Healthcare Hospital in Riyadh. Altra Capital also advised SEH Healthcare on the mandate. The contract is a 15-year award under Saudi Arabia’s Privatization and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) programme and covers the operation and management of the 150-bed facility constructed by SABIC. The award was confirmed by the Ministry of Health and the National Centre for Privatization & PPP (NCP). The project is one of the first of its kind in the Kingdom and forms part of the Health Sector Transformation Program, a pillar of Vision 2030 designed to expand private sector participation in healthcare delivery and improve access to specialised mental health and behavioural care services. Addleshaw Goddard represented SEH Healthcare (the consortium formed by SMC Healthcare, Health Gates and Dr Ebel Group) with a team composed by: Laura Coates (Partner), Ana Bonnington (Legal Director), Thomasina Perera (Associate), Kayode Adeniran (Associate), with additional support from Alex Sarac (Partner) and Aaina Grover (Associate) in Riyadh and Dubai.
