Orrick Advises Evercore on Franklin Templeton’s $1.5 Billion Inaugural Collateralized Fund Obligation

Franklin Templeton announced the successful closing of its first Collateralized Fund Obligation (CFO), Franklin Templeton Structured Solutions 2026, L.P., raising $1.5 billion from global investors. The CFO is designed to provide investors with diversified and efficient exposure to Franklin Templeton’s flagship private markets strategies, spanning private equity secondaries and continuation vehicles. Franklin Templeton said the inaugural CFO responds to growing client demand for access to differentiated private markets strategies in structures that are efficient and scalable. Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe represented Evercore, which acted as structuring advisor and placement agent to Franklin Templeton, with a team composed by: Gregg Jubin, Mike Gonzalez and Katie Wyatt.
