CMS INDUSLAW advised Freehand on its $75 million Series B fundraise, which was co-led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from PSP Growth, Nexus Venture Partners and other investors. The funding round raised $75 million to support Freehand’s expansion. The capital will be used to develop and scale Freehand’s enterprise AI platform and to accelerate enterprise deployments across its customer base. Freehand is a San Francisco-based enterprise AI company that develops autonomous AI agents to manage supply-chain spend, including contract enforcement, supplier management, invoice processing, payment workflows and spend reconciliation. Its platform is deployed by leading global enterprises including Meta, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Dunkin' and Cardinal Health. CMS INDUSLAW represented Freehand with a team composed by: Winnie Shekhar (Partner), Shantanu Singh (Partner) and Ravishankar M (Senior Associate).
