Arsene Advises Bluegem Capital Partners on Sale of Majority Stake in Groupe Béaba Suavinex to Portobello Capital

"Arsene advised Bluegem Capital Partners on the signing of an agreement to sell a majority stake in Groupe Béaba Suavinex to Portobello Capital (Portobello’s second Fund V investment). Bluegem will retain a stake and continue alongside Portobello and management. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions."

The law firm Arsene advised Bluegem Capital Partners in connection with the signing of an agreement for the sale of a majority stake in Groupe Béaba Suavinex to Portobello Capital. Groupe Béaba Suavinex brings together the premium childcare brands Suavinex and Béaba, whose complementary positions cover baby care and equipment. The Group is present in more than 100 countries and operates production sites in Spain and Slovakia. The operation marks a new phase of development for the Group aimed at accelerating international expansion, strengthening digital and e-commerce capabilities, broadening its offering across baby care and equipment categories, and pursuing targeted external growth. Bluegem Capital Partners will retain a stake and continue to support the business alongside Portobello Capital and the management team led by Julien Laporte. Since the acquisitions of Béaba in 2020 and Suavinex in 2022, the Group has grown substantially, reaching €130 million in revenue and €20 million in EBITDA in 2026. The transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
