Khaitan & Co advises Logicap on acquisition of warehousing assets from Xander

"Khaitan & Co advised Alta Capital Management LLP, through its Logicap platform, on the acquisition of warehousing assets from Singapore-based Xander Investment Management. The first tranche is valued at about ₹1,500 crore for 2.6 million sq. ft. in Chennai (FTZ) and Bagnan (Kolkata); a second tranche of around 1 million sq. ft. in Bhiwandi is planned."

Khaitan & Co advised Alta Capital Management LLP, through its logistics platform Logicap, on the acquisition of warehousing assets from Singapore-based Xander Investment Management. The transaction comprises two separate tranches. The first tranche is valued at approximately ₹1,500 crore and covers 2.6 million sq. ft. of logistics parks in Chennai and Bagnan (near Kolkata). The Chennai facility is located within a free trade zone, while the Bagnan property serves eastern consumption corridors. Both sites are currently operational and fully occupied. A second tranche, involving an additional approximately 1 million sq. ft. in Bhiwandi, is being planned.
