Arnold & Porter Advises Honduras on US$815.7 Million 6.400% Notes Due 2036

Arnold & Porter advised the Republic of Honduras in connection with its offering of US$815.7 million of 6.400% Notes due 2036. The offering comprised the issuance of US$815.7 million in 6.400% sovereign notes maturing in 2036. In connection with the offering, the Republic of Honduras previously announced a cash tender offer to repurchase outstanding 6.250% sovereign bonds maturing in 2027. Arnold & Porter represented the Republic of Honduras with a team composed by: counsel Arturo Caraballo; senior associate Valentina Garzon; partner Whitney Debevoise; and visiting attorney Mateus Maia de Souza, who assisted with aspects of the deal and is admitted to practice law only in Brazil and is not engaged in the practice of law in any U.S. jurisdiction.
