Akerman represented Irwin Industries, LLC, an affiliate of Irwin Steel, LLC, in the acquisition of Ennis Steel Industries, LLC. Ennis Steel Industries, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Ennis, Texas, operates from two locations and fabricates structural steel for projects across the United States, producing approximately 1,500 tons per month. The company is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). The transaction expands Irwin’s manufacturing capabilities through the addition of Ennis Steel’s structural steel fabrication expertise.
