Addleshaw Goddard Advises Street Group on Hg Growth Investment Valuing PropTech at Over £200m

Addleshaw Goddard advised the shareholders and management of Street Group Limited on a strategic growth investment by Hg; Alvarez & Marsal’s Manchester office worked closely with Addleshaw Goddard to prepare Street Group for the transaction. The transaction values Street Group, a Manchester-based provider of vertical software and AI for the UK residential property sector, at more than £200 million. Street Group builds SaaS products for estate and letting agents and serves over 4,000 estate agency offices across the UK. The deal includes a substantial reinvestment by the management team, supporting the company’s long-term growth ambitions. Founded in 2015 by siblings Tom and Heather Staff, Street Group has established itself as a leading PropTech provider. Tom and Heather remain majority controlling shareholders and will continue to lead the business. Hg’s strategic growth investment is intended to accelerate product innovation, deepen Street’s AI capabilities and expand the company’s operational capacity as it seeks to become the category-defining software and AI platform for UK estate and letting agents.
