Cohen & Gresser advised Raine Ventures as lead investor and acted as deal counsel to a consortium led by Raine Ventures in the recent capital raise of Wake Up Productions Limited. Wake Up Productions is the digital media network behind Piers Morgan Uncensored, developing and distributing original video and audio programming across news, politics, current affairs and interview-driven content. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Cohen & Gresser represented Raine Ventures and the consortium, with a team composed by: Daniel H. Mathias (London managing partner, led the cross-border team); Lucy Taylor (associate); Kwaku Andoh (US corporate and IP support); Karen H. Bromberg (US corporate and IP support). The matter involved the firm’s Corporate and Private Equity and Venture Capital practices.
