Plesner's Private Investment Funds team advised IIP Denmark on the structuring and formation of IIP Private Funds VI, IIP Europe I and IIP Venture III. IIP Denmark announced the successful launch and closings of three new investment funds, securing close to DKK 20 billion in commitments. On 1 July 2026 IIP Denmark held the initial closing of its sixth flagship buyout fund-of-funds platform, IIP Private Funds VI, with initial commitments of DKK 15 billion. The platform was established with the support of anchor investors PKA and Lars Larsen Group alongside a select group of external investors. Alongside the flagship platform, IIP Denmark launched a new fund-of-funds strategy, IIP Europe I, which will focus on European small-cap funds, and IIP Venture III, the firm's third venture fund-of-funds concentrating on venture managers investing in technology and life sciences. The closings mark a significant milestone in IIP Denmark’s expansion of its private capital platform and its strategy to broaden the investor base while building on long-standing relationships with anchor investors. Based in Copenhagen, IIP Denmark manages approximately DKK 100 billion on behalf of PKA’s members, Lars Larsen Group and a growing base of external investors across global private equity and venture capital fund investments and co-investments. Plesner represented IIP Denmark with its Private Investment Funds team.
