Setterwalls advises Art-Invest Real Estate on acquisition of additional properties in Barkarbystaden

The buildings are Nordic Swan Ecolabelled, located by a future subway station, and were acquired for one of Art-Invest’s institutional investment funds."

Setterwalls advised Art-Invest Real Estate in the acquisition of two newly built properties in Barkarbystaden from Åke Sundvall on behalf of one of Art-Invest’s institutional investment funds. The acquired properties comprise residential apartments and commercial premises. Together with a previously completed transaction, this acquisition gives Art-Invest Real Estate ownership of the entire Atlas quarter. This is the second deal between the parties and marks Art-Invest’s third transaction in Barkarbystaden, following the earlier acquisitions of Stockholm Quality Outlet and three residential buildings within the same Atlas quarter in 2024 and 2025. The newly constructed residential buildings are located in one of Sweden’s largest urban development areas, adjacent to the new subway station expected to open in 2027. All buildings are Nordic Swan Ecolabelled and have been constructed to a high technical standard.
