A&O Shearman advises Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego on EUR2bn dual‑tranche guaranteed notes issuance

"A&O Shearman advised Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) on a EUR2bn dual‑tranche issuance: EUR1.25bn 3.750% notes due 2034 and EUR750m 4.500% notes due 2041, guaranteed by the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland. Proceeds will finance the Covid‑19 Response Fund. BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Erste, ING and Pekao acted as joint lead managers."

A&O Shearman advised Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) on the issuance of dual‑tranche guaranteed notes. The transaction comprised the issuance of EUR1.250bn 3.750 per cent fixed rate notes due 2034 and EUR750m 4.500 per cent fixed rate notes due 2041, for a total of EUR2bn. The notes are guaranteed by the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland and the issue proceeds will finance the Covid‑19 Response Fund. BNP Paribas, Commerzbank, Erste, ING and Pekao acted as joint lead managers on the transaction.
