Clyde & Co, Impacta Law and Sayenko Kharenko Advise on Notus Energy Wind Farm Financing in Ukraine

"Clyde & Co and Impacta Law advised Notus Energy on project financing and commercial agreements for its 123.9 MW wind farm in Ukraine; Sayenko Kharenko, working with Clifford Chance, advised the lenders. The package includes EUR 70m senior debt from IFC and EBRD (each supported by the European Commission and Norad), EUR 15m junior from Swedfund, EUR 7m from BIO, and equity from Horizon Capital, the Green for Growth Fund and Notus Energy."

Clyde & Co and Impacta Law advised Notus Energy on the project financing and associated commercial agreements for its 123.9‑megawatt wind farm in Ukraine, while Sayenko Kharenko, working with Clifford Chance, advised the lenders. The transaction comprised the project financing for the 123.9 MW wind farm and included advisory work on the corporate power purchase agreement, turbine supply and services agreements with Nordex. The financing package includes EUR 70 million in senior debt provided by the International Finance Corporation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, each supported by the European Commission and Norad. Additional junior debt is provided by Swedfund (EUR 15 million) and BIO (EUR 7 million). Equity support for the project comes from Horizon Capital through its Catalyst Fund, the Green for Growth Fund, and Notus Energy.
