IW Melcheds and Broadfield advised the parties to the acquisition of 100% of Indel Bauru by MacLean, a manufacturer controlled by U.S. investment firm Blackstone. The transaction comprised the sale of the entire capital of Indel Bauru, a company founded nearly four decades ago by the Brustello family that specialises in energy infrastructure equipment. The deal included the company’s real estate assets as well as its distribution subsidiary serving the North American market and constitutes a cross‑border investment in Brazil’s industrial sector. IW Melcheds provided counsel throughout all stages of the transaction, while Broadfield delivered integrated advice on U.S. law aspects of the deal.
