Andersen advised the founding partner of Softeca Internet on the sale of a majority of its share capital to Groupauto International (GAI). The transaction involves the founding partner of Softeca Internet, a Spanish technology company specialising in software and internet-based solutions, selling a majority stake to Groupauto International, a Paris-headquartered network operating in the automotive aftermarket sector. Groupauto, which focuses on distribution, services and digital transformation, will leverage Softeca’s proprietary solutions — including modular platforms, data-based analytics tools and artificial intelligence — to establish the Spanish company as the technological core from which GAI plans to drive its global digital transformation. Andersen represented the founding partner of Softeca Internet with a team composed by: Juan Antonio Castro, partner in the Corporate/M&A department and member of the French Desk, who led the advisory work; Paloma Hernández, senior associate, Corporate/M&A; and Carlota de Sas, associate, Corporate/M&A.
