Sidley Austin represented Clara Vista Investment Partners in its acquisition of an 80% stake in Frosinone Calcio. Clara Vista Investment Partners, a U.S.-based investment firm and majority shareholder of Ipswich Town Football Club, acquired the 80% stake from Maurizio Stirpe, Frosinone Calcio’s longtime president. Frosinone was recently promoted to Serie A. The transaction is expected to provide additional liquidity to support the club’s investment in its infrastructure and squad.
