Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and White & Case advise on Bureau Veritas negotiations with Triton Partners

"Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and Gide advised Bureau Veritas, while White & Case advised Triton Partners, as Bureau Veritas entered exclusive negotiations with Triton for the sale of its global Petroleum & Petrochemical Products and Coal testing and inspection activities (c. €450m revenue in 2025). The disposal aligns with Bureau Veritas’ LEAP | 28 strategy and may close by end-Q1 2027, subject to consultations and conditions."

Hogan Lovells Cadwalader and Gide advised Bureau Veritas, and White & Case advised Triton Partners in connection with exclusive negotiations launched by Bureau Veritas with Triton Partners for the proposed disposal of its global testing and inspection activities for Petroleum & Petrochemical Products and Coal. Bureau Veritas’ testing and inspection activities for Petroleum & Petrochemical Products and Coal are carried out worldwide and generated approximately €450 million of revenue in 2025. The contemplated disposal is part of the Group’s LEAP | 28 strategy and would contribute to refocusing Bureau Veritas’s portfolio toward higher-growth, higher-margin activities. The contemplated transaction is currently being negotiated, will be subject to the applicable employee information and consultation procedures, and could be finalised by the end of the first quarter of 2027, subject to the satisfaction of the usual conditions precedent.
