Addleshaw Goddard advises StudentSpace on Warsaw plot acquisition for new student accommodation

Addleshaw Goddard advised StudentSpace, the student housing platform developed by SIGNAL, Griffin Capital Partners and Echo Investment, on the acquisition of a plot in Warsaw for the development of a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) project. The plot, located at the corner of Beethovena and Dziekońskiego streets, will be developed into a modern six-storey scheme that will add nearly 600 beds to Warsaw’s PBSA market. The facility is scheduled to open for the 2027/2028 academic year. This will be the platform’s second project in Warsaw. The acquisition follows Addleshaw Goddard’s earlier advisory role on the joint venture behind the StudentSpace platform and on prior acquisitions of development plots for the platform. Addleshaw Goddard represented StudentSpace with a team composed by: Filip Witaszek (senior associate) who led the transaction team, supported by Joanna Roman (associate) from the real estate practice; the advisory was supervised by Tomasz Trystuła (partner).
