Madrona and Demarest Advise on Catupiry Acquisition of Lactojara

Madrona Advogados advised Laticínios Catupiry on the acquisition, while Demarest Advogados represented the sellers, Leprino Foods Company. The transaction involves the acquisition by Laticínios Catupiry of 100% of the equity interest held by Leprino Foods Brasil Participações in Lactojara Indústria e Comércio de Laticínios, which operates Leprino’s industrial business in Brazil. The agreement was signed under the internal codename Projeto Acqua Roca and remains subject to customary closing conditions. The deal reinforces Catupiry’s strategy to expand its portfolio, which currently comprises more than 130 products, and has a cross-border dimension involving the United States.
