Bernitsas Advises on Optima Bank EUR 200 Million Additional Tier 1 Notes Issuance

"Bernitsas advised global coordinator Morgan Stanley, joint lead managers Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas, and co-manager Optima Bank on Optima Bank’s inaugural EUR 200 million Additional Tier 1 notes. The offering was aimed at institutional investors, listed on Luxembourg’s Euro MTF and attracted a book in excess of EUR 2.2 billion, oversubscribed more than 11 times."

Bernitsas advised global coordinator Morgan Stanley, joint lead managers Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas, and co-manager Optima Bank in connection with Optima Bank’s inaugural EUR 200 million Additional Tier 1 (AT1) notes issuance. The notes were offered to institutional investors and were listed on the Euro MTF market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. The order book exceeded EUR 2.2 billion, resulting in an oversubscription of more than 11 times. Bernitsas represented global coordinator Morgan Stanley, joint lead managers Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas, and co-manager Optima Bank with a team composed by: Partner Nikos Papachristopoulos, Counsel Alexia Kefalogianni, and Associate Adonis Sfyris.
