Ban, S. Szabo, Rausch & Partners and Jalsovszky Advise Aperam on Acquisition of Magnetec

Ban, S. Szabo, Rausch & Partners, together with PPR & Partner, advised Aperam on its acquisition of the Magnetec Group, while Jalsovszky, together with Goerg, advised the Magnetec Group. Aperam, a producer of stainless steel, electrical steel, alloys, specialty steel, and recycling and renewable products, completed the acquisition of the Magnetec Group. According to Ban, S. Szabo, Rausch & Partners, the transaction supports the expansion of Aperam’s Alloys & Specialties division and strengthens its position in the electrical engineering and electronics sectors. The transaction was cross-border in scope and involved Germany, Hungary, Moldova, China and Vietnam. Ban, S. Szabo, Rausch & Partners represented Aperam with a team composed by: Partners Gergely Szabo and David Kiss; Trainee Lawyers Vivien Mersits and Levente Molnar. Jalsovszky represented the Magnetec Group with a team composed by: Partner Agnes Bejo; Senior Associates Adam Boross and Gabor Kerekes; and Junior Associate Kristof Anda.
