Aptean Acquires ROTOR Software to Strengthen Dealer Management Offering in the DACH Region

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe advised Aptean on its acquisition of ROTOR Software. Aptean, a global provider of AI-driven vertically specialized ERP solutions headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, has acquired ROTOR Software, a St. Ingbert-based provider of dealer management solutions for the motorists, agricultural and construction machinery sectors in the DACH market. ROTOR, formed from the merger of SEWiGA and Orbis and drawing on more than 30 years of market experience, offers an integrated ERP platform that connects sales, service and rental processes to provide clear structures, precise communication and optimized lifecycle control for equipment sales and rental. The acquisition expands Aptean’s presence in the DACH region and strengthens its dealer management offering with solutions purpose-built for motorists, agricultural and construction machinery dealers. Aptean CEO TVN Reddy noted ROTOR’s decades-long track record and highlighted the company’s role in advancing Aptean’s dealer management capabilities to new and existing customers. Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe represented Aptean with a team composed by: Christoph Brenner and Adrian Dengler, who led the Orrick team, and David Ruff, Maria Teodorescu, Benedikt Migdal, Simon Reulein, Daniel Ashkar, Marianna Urban and Asalia Melanie Scheibner.
