Morgan Lewis advises Lightspeed Venture Partners on lead investment in Kyber

Morgan Lewis advised Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Coblence Avocats represented Kyber. Lightspeed Venture Partners led a $5 million financing round in Kyber, joined by OVNI Capital and Kima Ventures. The investment will support the commercial deployment of Kyber’s solutions for remote control of robots and AI agents. Lightspeed Venture Partners is a global multi‑stage venture capital firm managing over $50 billion in assets. Since its founding in 2000, the firm has been an early investor and long‑time backer of many innovative companies. Kyber is a French deep‑tech company developing a real‑time open‑source infrastructure for physical AI. Its ultra‑low latency technologies enable humans and AI systems to control remote machines — robots, drones, XR systems and autonomous devices — as if those machines were local. Kyber was founded by Jean‑Baptiste Kempf, a lead developer of VLC, and operates at the intersection of networking, low latency, open source and next‑generation machine interaction. Morgan Lewis advised Lightspeed Venture Partners with a team composed by: Sébastien Pontillo, partner, and Thomas Maincent and Taqwa Lidghi, collaborators, on corporate matters.
