Goodwin advises Innovafeed on €51 million fundraising

"Goodwin advised Innovafeed on a €51 million fundraising to support a new phase of development, including completion of industrialisation and reorganisation around its Nesle site. The capital will back commercial deployment of insect-based ingredients for animal feed, pet food and agriculture. Goodwin acted for Innovafeed."

Goodwin advised Innovafeed, the world’s leading producer of functional and sustainable insect-based ingredients (Hermetia illucens), in connection with a €51 million fundraising. The operation marks a key milestone for Innovafeed, aimed at accompanying a new phase of the company’s development. Innovafeed has announced the completion of its industrialisation phase and the reorganisation of its activities around its Nesle site. The company will now concentrate on the commercial development of its product ranges for animal feed, pet food and agriculture, supported by its financial partners. Founded in 2016, Innovafeed is a pioneer of green reindustrialisation. Over a decade the company has transformed a research innovation into an industrial and commercial platform, developing local, high-performance ingredients to meet growing needs in animal nutrition, based on a proprietary technology deployed at industrial scale. Goodwin represented Innovafeed with a team composed by: Anne-Charlotte Rivière (Partner, Corporate), Johann Gandilhon (Associate, Corporate), Valentine Nuaud (Associate, Corporate) and Alice Borgida (Legal Counsel, Corporate).
