Ashurst advises Enagás on acquisition of 31.5% stake in Teréga

Ashurst advised Enagás, the principal gas transmission system operator in Spain, in connection with an agreement to acquire a 31.5% stake in French gas infrastructure manager Teréga from GIC. The transaction concerns the acquisition of a 31.5% interest in Teréga, which operates approximately 5,100 km of gas pipelines and two underground storage facilities in the south-west of France. The agreement is subject to customary suspensive conditions and is expected to be completed in 2026.
