Acciaierie Bertoli Safau (ABS) Acquires 100% of R. Casini to Create Largest Regional Scrap Hub — Deal Advisors Named

"ABS – Acciaierie Bertoli Safau, via its subsidiary Rott‑Ferr, has acquired 100% of R. Casini, a Feletto Umberto (UD)‑based scrap metal collector and processor active for over 40 years. The deal strengthens ABS’s scrap supply chain started in 2023 and creates the region’s largest scrap‑management hub with about 200,000 tonnes/year capacity, supporting the group’s vertical integration amid changing Italian and EU rules on scrap exports and secondary raw materials. ABS/Rott‑Ferr was advised legally and fiscally by GA‑Alliance (including partners Manuel Seminara and Riccardo Manfrini), with AGCM notification support from Francesco Sciaudone and Vincenzo Volpe; financial advice came from Crowe Bompani Advisory; tax due diligence by Consimp (Stefano Rudelli et al.).
