Ashurst Advises Octopus Energy Generation on Acquisition of 49.9% Stake in 107.1 MW French Onshore Wind Portfolio from Banque des Territoires

"Global law firm Ashurst advised Octopus Energy Generation, acting for its Sky fund, on acquiring a 49.9% stake in a 107.1 MW portfolio of four onshore wind farms in France from Banque des Territoires (the investment arm of Caisse des Dépôts) via the purchase of holding company TramuntanaCo. The deal was led by corporate partner Charles-Douglas Fuz with counsel Gaspard Bastien-Thiry and associates Sarah Chemouny and Paloma Cardon-Torres. Antitrust, projects and real estate work was handled by Christophe Lemaire and Morgane Gloaguen, Anthony Gray and Orphée Janaud, and Philippe None with Karen Chermat, respectively."

Ashurst advised Octopus Energy Generation (acting on behalf of the Sky fund) on the deal; Banque des Territoires (the investment arm of Caisse des Dépôts) was the seller. The transaction comprised the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in a portfolio of onshore wind farms in France through the purchase of TramuntanaCo, a holding company that held the 49.9% interest in four projects with a combined installed capacity of 107.1 MW.
