A&O Shearman and PedersoliGattai in Wipro's acquisition of Indeco

"Wipro Hydraulics, part of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering, has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Italian demolition-equipment maker Indeco Ind. A&O Shearman advised Wipro Enterprises Private Limited; PedersoliGattai represented the selling shareholders. Completion is subject to customary regulatory approvals."

A&O Shearman and PedersoliGattai acted in the transaction: A&O Shearman advised Wipro Enterprises Private Limited (through Wipro Hydraulics/Wipro Infrastructure Engineering), while PedersoliGattai represented the selling shareholders of Indeco Ind. Wipro Hydraulics, part of Wipro Infrastructure Engineering and Wipro Enterprises, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Indeco Ind, an Italian company specialised in the manufacture of equipment for construction, demolition and recycling. Indeco, founded in 1976 and based in Bari, produces hydraulic breakers, crusher heads, shears and a broad range of other demolition equipment, and operates production facilities in Italy and the United States. Wipro Infrastructure Engineering operates across hydraulics, industrial automation, aerospace, water treatment, additive manufacturing and electronic materials. Wipro Hydraulics, with 16 manufacturing plants worldwide, is specialised in the design and production of bespoke hydraulic cylinders for sectors including construction and earthmoving, material and goods handling, forestry, agriculture, mining and truck-tipping solutions. The completion of the transaction is subject to the receipt of customary approvals from the relevant authorities.
