AQA Capital and Ares SICAF secure financing to develop Baranzate urban regeneration project

"AQA Capital (as AIFM) and Ares SICAF have closed a mortgage financing, provided by a pool made up of Banca Finint and Guber Banca, to fund the real‑estate development of the Baranzate (MI) area under Ares Fund 2. The operation—supported by a parallel issuance of a class of participative financial instruments (SFP) already subscribed by a qualified institutional investor—will finance an urban regeneration and residential project focused on sustainability, energy efficiency and tech-enabled solutions. Legal, tax and corporate advice was provided to the deal by K&L Gates, AndPartners and Studio Legale Fracchia, with notarial support from Linares Pizzo and lenders assisted by Ashurst. Ares SICAF says the transaction is a key step in executing the compartment’s industrial plan and in expanding its multi-compartment investment platform."
