Clifford Chance advised CSOP Asset Management on the successful launch and listing of CSOP Gold ETF on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The transaction involved the establishment and market introduction of CSOP Gold ETF, an exchange-traded fund that directly holds physical gold stored in Hong Kong. The product offers flexible creation and redemption mechanisms, allowing for either cash or in‑kind (physical gold) transactions, thereby providing efficient Hong Kong–based access to gold bullion and broadening options for local investors. Clifford Chance assisted with the preparation of the offering documents and managed the regulatory processes with the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
