Baker McKenzie Advises TMX Group on Proposed Acquisition of Cboe Australia

"Baker McKenzie is advising TMX Group Limited on its proposed acquisition of Cboe Australia (formerly Chi‑X), the country’s second‑largest exchange and a rapidly growing ETF, warrants and funds trading platform. TMX — an ~US$11 billion enterprise that operates the Toronto Stock Exchange and other global markets — is pursuing the deal concurrently with its acquisition of Cboe Canada. The Baker McKenzie team advising on the transaction includes lawyers in Australia and Canada, and completion remains subject to regulatory approvals."
