Hughes Hubbard Advises Gleacher Shacklock Partners on Sale of Interests to Perella Weinberg

"Hughes Hubbard & Reed advised the partners of Gleacher Shacklock on the sale of their interests to Perella Weinberg Partners. Slaughter and May and Gleacher Shacklock’s General Counsel Chloe Gal also participated. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions."

Hughes Hubbard & Reed advised the partners of Gleacher Shacklock, and Slaughter and May advised Gleacher Shacklock, in connection with the sale of the partners’ interests to Perella Weinberg Partners; Gleacher Shacklock’s General Counsel Chloe Gal also participated in the transaction. The transaction involves the sale of the partners’ interests in Gleacher Shacklock, a London-headquartered independent advisory firm with a long-standing presence in the UK advisory market, to Perella Weinberg Partners, a leading global independent advisory firm. The sale is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Hughes Hubbard & Reed represented the partners of Gleacher Shacklock with a team composed by: Gerold Niggemann (lead), Javad Husain (lead), Gary Simon, Chuck Samuelson and Erin DeCecchis.
