Foley & Lardner LLP represented EpiVax Inc. in its acquisition by SV Health Investors. The transaction involved the acquisition of EpiVax Inc., a Providence, Rhode Island–headquartered bioanalytical contract research organization that specializes in immunogenicity risk assessments for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, by SV Health Investors, a private investment firm focused on health care and life sciences. EpiVax is a pioneer in pre-clinical drug development, offering a predictive analytical software platform and in vitro laboratory services that enable life sciences companies to identify safety and efficacy risks early in drug development, thereby reducing timelines and R&D costs. In partnership with SV Health Investors, EpiVax will continue to expand its capabilities and services, including the planned launch of advanced computational tools, cell-based assay applications and broader analytical consulting services.
