Hogan Lovells Advises Italgas on €750 Million EMTN Bond Issue

"Hogan Lovells advised Italgas S.p.A. on the issue of a €750 million fixed-rate bond under its EMTN Programme. The 6‑year bond (maturing 16 April 2032) carries a 3.625% coupon, was more than 2.5 times oversubscribed and is the first dematerialized English‑law corporate issuance listed on the MOT."

Hogan Lovells advised Italgas S.p.A. on the issuance of a €750 million fixed‑rate bond under the company’s Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) Programme. The transaction comprised a €750 million fixed‑rate bond with a maturity date of 16 April 2032 (six years) and an annual coupon of 3.625%. The issue was executed under Italgas’ EMTN Programme, the first transaction carried out under the programme approved by CONSOB in July 2025. The issuance attracted orders in excess of 2.5 times the amount offered and featured high‑quality demand with broad geographical diversification of investors. The deal also marked the first dematerialized issuance by an Italian corporate of securities governed by English law and listed on the Mercato Telematico delle Obbligazioni (MOT), managed by Borsa Italiana.
