Osborne Clarke Represents Grupa Azoty Polyolefins in EUR 3.5 Billion Arbitration Against Hyundai Engineering

Osborne Clarke represented Grupa Azoty Polyolefins in arbitration proceedings against Hyundai Engineering. The proceedings, valued at approximately EUR 3.5 billion, arose from the implementation of the Polimery Police project, a major petrochemical investment in Central and Eastern Europe. The dispute involved mutual claims between the parties concerning project delays, cost increases and the termination of the contract. The parties reached a settlement and resolved the dispute amicably.
