Dentons Cárdenas & Cárdenas, supported by the Dentons London team, advised Mineros S.A. on its acquisition of a gold exploration project located in the Tolima department. The transaction was structured through the acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of AngloGold Ashanti Colombia S.A.S., the company holding mining concession agreement EIG-163. Consideration for the transaction includes an initial cash payment and a contingent component payable upon the achievement of specified regulatory and environmental milestones. The acquisition forms part of Mineros S.A.’s strategy to strengthen its asset portfolio in Colombia, leveraging its local expertise and commitment to responsible and sustainable mining.
