Lara Martins Advogados strengthens its labor law practice

Lara Martins Advogados has added former labor judge Platon Teixeira de Azevedo Neto to its team, strengthening the firm’s labor law practice. Platon Teixeira de Azevedo Neto is stepping down from his position as presiding judge of the 8th Labor Court of Goiânia (Regional Labor Court of the 18th Region). His career includes significant institutional and academic roles: he served as an assistant judge on the Board of the National School for the Training and Improvement of Labor Magistrates (ENAMAT) and is an adjunct professor of Labor Procedural Law at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). He holds a Ph.D. in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and a master’s degree in Human Rights from UFG. Platon has also held leadership positions in professional associations, including president of the Association of Labor Magistrates of the 18th Region (Amatra 18) and of the Goiás Institute of Labor Law (IGT), and he is a member of the Brazilian Academy of Labor Law and the Goiás Academy of Law.
