Baker McKenzie Advises Meili Holding on 100% Acquisition of ACPS Group (ORIS)

"Baker McKenzie advised Meili Holding GmbH (a subsidiary of Zhejiang Meili High Technology) on the all-cash acquisition of 100% of Hitched Holdings 3 B.V., which controls the ACPS Group (known for ORIS towbars). The deal brings a market- and technology-leading towing-bracket business—ACPS reported about €440 million in 2024 revenue and roughly 2,200 employees across 10 sites in Europe, North America and Asia—into Meili’s portfolio. Meili Germany, founded in 1904, is a family-owned spring manufacturer with over 100 employees. The cross-border legal team was led by Baker McKenzie partners Dr. Thomas Gilles and Dr. Markus Mörtel (with Amsterdam and Shanghai support) alongside Chinese firm FenXun."

Baker McKenzie, together with FenXun (operating in China as Baker McKenzie FenXun), advised Meili Holding GmbH (a subsidiary of Zhejiang Meili High Technology Co.) on the acquisition of the ACPS Group. The transaction involved Meili Technology acquiring 100% of the shares in Hitched Holdings 3 B.V. from Hitched Holdings 2 B.V. in an all‑cash deal effected through Meili Holding GmbH.
