Jeantet advises Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies on strategic JV with Altarea Energies Renouvelables to create 124.6 MW agricultural photovoltaic platform

"Jeantet advised Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies (via the Crédit Agricole Énergies et Territoires fund managed by Amundi Transition Énergétique) on a strategic partnership with Altarea Énergies Renouvelables to create a joint platform for building and operating large-scale photovoltaic projects. The new company is owned 75% by Crédit Agricole (50% by the fund and 25% by regional Caisses via dedicated funds) and 25% by Altarea. It will mainly install solar panels on agricultural buildings provided by farmers at no cost to them, giving farmers a functional facility plus a recurring income. At full capacity in 2026 the platform will reach 124.6 MWc — enough to cover the annual electricity use of over 50,000 households — and feed clean power into the national grid. The deal supports CA T&E’s asset-acquisition strategy and its target of 2 GW installed capacity by 2028. Jeantet’s advising team included Philippe Raybaud, Thibault Willaume, Clément Bourdin, Gabriel di Chiara, François‑Xavier Simeoni, Hélène Gelas and Florent Prunet; Altarea was advised by Jones Day."
