Oratio Avocats Advises Aserti on Sale of Control to Chequers Capital, with Management Reinvesting

"Oratio Avocats, an independent French law firm, advised Aserti and its senior managers on the sale of control of the group to investment fund Chequers Capital. Parquest, which invested in 2017, supported Aserti’s strategic refocus and growth to about €50M revenue; the new investment by Chequers aims to fund a next phase of development, notably international expansion. Management, led by Pierre Brisset, has reinvested significantly to form a balanced shareholder base alongside the new majority investor. Oratio’s deal team included M&A partners Benoît Brossard, Nicolas English and Franck Mélédo, tax partner Annabelle Bezier and employment partner Françoise Le Veziel."
