Gide advises Accor on agreement to sell its 30.56% stake in Essendi to Blackstone and Colony IM

"Gide advised Accor on a deal to sell its 30.56% stake in Essendi (formerly AccorInvest) to a consortium led by Blackstone and Colony IM. The agreed consideration is up to €975 million (€675 million at closing plus up to €300 million in earn‑out). Closing is expected in Q3 2026, subject to a shareholders’ agreement between Blackstone and other Essendi shareholders and usual regulatory and competition approvals. Gide’s deal team included Marcus Billam, Alexandre Durand and Pierre Zejma (corporate/M&A), Franck Audran, Delphine de la Ville Montbazon and Julia Malaussene (competition), and Pierre‑Antoine Degrolard and Jonathan Navarro (foreign investment control). Blackstone was advised by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett."
