ACEN India unit secures ₹751 crore for 100 MW Karnataka wind project; CAM, TT&A, WvT & Trowers advise

"ACEN India unit Diyos Renewables India Project Pvt. Ltd. has secured ₹751 crore in term and non‑fund based facilities from MUFG Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to fund the design, development, construction and commissioning of a 100 MW AC wind project in Vijayapura, Karnataka—ACEN’s first greenfield wind project in India. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (led by Subhojit Sadhu) advised Diyos; TT&A acted as Indian counsel to the lenders (with partners including Pallavi Meena, Pragya Sood and Akshay Malhotra), while WvT (Dutch) and Trowers & Hamlins (English/Singapore) served as overseas counsel."

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Diyos Renewables India Project Private Limited (an ACEN India unit), while TT&A, WvT and Trowers & Hamlins acted for the lenders MUFG Bank, Ltd. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). The transaction comprises a term loan facility and non‑fund based facilities aggregating ₹751 crore to finance the design, development, construction, commissioning and related costs of a 100 MW AC wind energy generation project in Vijayapura district, Karnataka — the ACEN group’s first greenfield wind project in India.
