Baker McKenzie Advises Aspect Holdings on Amendment to Varvynska Production Sharing Agreement in Ukraine

"Baker McKenzie Ukraine advised U.S.-based Aspect Holdings on an amendment to the Varvynska Production Sharing Agreement between Aspect’s subsidiary Ukrainian Energy LLC and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The amendment, signed on 24 March 2026 in Houston during CERAWeek, updates contractual terms ahead of planned exploration and accounts for challenges from the ongoing war. The Baker McKenzie Kyiv team was led by Partner Andrii Moskalyk (with Associate Oleksandr Savvi). Aspect affirmed its long-term commitment to developing the Varvynska blocks in Poltava and Chernihiv."
